So excited for you to see all the July 4th content I have planned for you plus a surprise.” Paige Spiranac posted on her Instagram story a few days ago. The word was that something related to hot-dogs would land on her channel. If that wasn’t enough, there might be something bigger. If everything goes alright, a collab (or competition) between Golf Mommy and Hailey Rae Ostrom is in the offing.

On popular demand, the two celebrity influencers agreed to a match. Hailey Ostrom asked her fans who they wanted to see next on her channel. Among various suggestions, the most common was Paige Spiranac. Ostrom took note of that and asked Golf Mommy if she was up for it. Spiranac promptly replied, “Let’s do it.

Of course, it’s more significant because of their past history. Ostrom and Spiranac locked horns two years ago over a Tiger Woods post. Amanda Rose, celebrating Tiger Woods’s Hall of Fame induction, tweeted that the 15-time major winner might be the ultimate ‘Girl Dad’.

However, Ostrmo took issue with it because of Woods’s past marital troubles. Ostrom wrote, “My own dad set the bar pretty high. Tiger is not in that same category.” Spiranac, however, recounted a past fiasco with Ostrom and her father.

The argument snowballed into a firestorm, with both accusing each other of being ‘petty’. Eventually, Ostrom apologized for unwittingly offending Paige Spiranac in a comment she made somewhere between 2018 and 19.

The two seem to be in good spirits now as Spiranac’s response to Ostrom’s post suggests. Currently, these two are the most influential golf celebrities on social media. Needless to say, the Internet went into a frenzy over the prospect of seeing them face each other on the greens.

The internet went bonkers over the two golf divas

The fact that Paige Spiranac and Hailey Rae Ostrom decided to bury the hatchet perhaps carries some lessons for professional golf, some suggested. After LIV’s inception, men’s pro golf was cleaved in half, and unification is still some distance away. More importantly, not every player on the PGA Tour and LIV Golf sees eye to eye on crucial matters.

For some, the Spiranc and Ostrom collaboration offered some solace. “This. This is the positivity we need,” one enthusiastic fan tweeted. Another user, noting their growing popularity among fans, commented, “A rising tide..”

Others were already speculating on the venues and whether they could be present. Rather than joining the fun as spectators, some wanted to get involved as well. One fan tweeted, “At Shadow Creek on my dime if I can caddie!” Some, however, wanted a “neutral course” where no one gets any advantage. One user had a suggestion for the neural course. “At Trump National Doral,” they commented.

Although none of them have announced any possible date for the collab to drop, the internet has already gone wild. It might just turn out to be the most significant team effort for Golf Mommy after her hugely popular golf lesson with Bryson DeChambeau
