Hence, everyone considers Jack as the best golfer, with only Tiger Woods giving him a tough fight for the GOAT tag. The legendary Jack Nicklaus is celebrating his 82nd birthday today. And the entire golfing world is excited to wish him and recall his dominance on the PGA Tour. Even though golf wasn’t a popular sport like today, Jack made sure he intrigues as many fans as possible to watch this game.

Additionally, Jack was a dominating force, especially during the 1970s decade. He played in all 40 majors and missed only one cut. Furthermore, he even had 35 top-10s and eight victories, which is unfathomable. Notably, Nicklaus even has the most top-5 finishes in men’s major championship history with 56 top-5 finishes.

Moreover, Jack had an equally dominating performance on the senior tour. He won ten trophies in his short career there and retired from competitive golf in 2005. And since Tiger started competing on the PGA Tour, the GOAT tag is debatable and is up to an individual.
