It would be difficult to imagine the PGA Tour without Bryson DeChambeau. The 28-year-old has made a name for himself over the past few years, especially after his US Open win in 2020. However, some time ago, DeChambeau properly considered retiring from golf.

While he did continue to play, the thought of DeChambeau stepping aside is almost unimaginable.

“Chris Pratt helped me out a bit through a really difficult time for me. He said play this fictional character for a while,” DeChambeau said. “I know you’re not happy, you’re in a very, very difficult spot, but just act like you’re acting for a little bit”.

DeChambeau added that as time went by, and he started feeling like himself again. At one point, he wasn’t fun to be around simply because of how frustrated or sad he was.

Of course, DeChambeau has taken responsibility for what he has been feeling and is working on it.

Fans seemed somewhat amused by DeChambeau’s response. “That was…a lot,” one wrote about the whole answer. They added that he should maybe focus, and not let everything get lost in translation. Some shared various Chris Pratt gifs, which were cringe-worthy to other users.

Some were not convinced about what DeChambeau had to say. They believed he was not acting and was just doing what he wanted to.

Others commented on Pratt as an actor, and how he has yet to break character.
