Will Hideki Matsuyama compete at the 2022 Masters?

Even though Hideki Matsuyama is serving the champions dinner today, his participation in this tournament is still doubtful. He is still recovering from a neck injury that has been troubling him a lot. Hideki even withdrew from the last week’s Texas Open to take a rest and prepare for the Masters.

However, still, there is no confirmation from his side that he will be teeing off on Thursday. He most probably will take a call earlier that morning. Meanwhile, we have seen him practicing on the range since Monday but we could sense a slight stiffness in his neck during his swing.

So hopefully, he will recover and compete to defend the green jacket that he received last year.
