Showcasing the duo’s cheer, Daly revealed his holiday costume, dressed as a very real-looking Santa Claus.

John Daly dons a Christmas outfit

It seemed like an exciting night at the Ritz-Carlton, Grande Lakes, as Daly donned his Christmas outfit. The 2-time major winner took to Twitter to share this picture and wrote, “Tis’ the season.”

Nick Faldo, too, shared a picture from the eventful night.

Moreover, a delighted golf world had a lot to say.

And one thing that naturally compliments his outfit is, of course, his beard. However, did you know Daly actually had hinted at how he would don the red costume?

Daly is not letting his beard grow out to keep on trend with a fashion statement or a whim. No, he has a solid reason for doing so, as he revealed. He said, “Well, I started growing it when I found out I had cancer. And I figured most people shave things. I just wanted to grow this until I beat it.”

Taken as a joke that time, he said, “So this thing may be down to my knees time I beat this cancer. But I am going to let it grow and grow. I will put my Santa Claus outfit on for Christmas for the next three or four years.”
