

Left-handed golfer and multiple major champion Bubba Watson Jr. recently went through a knee issue, which later turned out to be a torn meniscus. Not long after he discovered this, Bubba tweeted that he’ll be out for 4-6 weeks.
However, a new tweet by him states the well-being and successful procedure of Bubba’s knee.

Bubba said that everything went well, and he is now resting. He also mentioned watching the US Women’s Open while he rests.

The golf community reacted with lots of love and good wishes for him to recover well. Twitter was taken by a wave of relief after the golfer announced his successful surgery.

Bubba Watson announced his surgery earlier on Twitter
The pro golfer also announced his surgery through a video he shared for his fans on Twitter. He mentioned that he needed to go through a meniscus preservation surgery to get his knee fixed.

The 43-year-old knew that the problem was serious and also mentioned that he was going to be on crutches for eight to 12 weeks. He also appealed to his fans to wish him luck for the procedure and his recovery.

He said “Hey guys, Bubba Watson here, having surgery this week, meniscus preservation surgery. We’re going to save as much of the meniscus as possible so I can continue to play for the rest of my life. Play the game of golf that I love, but I’ll give you updates throughout the time. Be on crutches for about eight or 12 weeks. Wish me luck. You’re welcome..”

Bubba Watson promised to keep his fans updated about everything throughout in the video. And as promised, he kept posting updates about his surgery and what the doctors told him.

In another tweet before his surgery, Bubba posted a video and wrote, “Whelp! Looks like my knee will keep me out longer than hoped. Having my meniscus repaired tomorrow and should be swinging a club again by fall. It’s the best long-term solution so I can keep playing for years to come. I appreciate any prayers y’all wanna send my way!”
