Fan’s Reactions to Tiger Woods offer
The revelation has witnessed all sorts of reactions from fans on social media. While many couldn’t believe the amount of money being poured over professional golfers, others questioned the integrity of the players joining the Saudi-backed tour.
It disgusts me that anyone makes this much money. The rich can afford to trash our planet even faster with their conspicuous consumption while others work like slaves for little to nothing. The wealth inequality is sickening. Why does society continue to operate like this?

According to various reports, other LIV golfers were offered vast sums of money to lure them out of PGA and DP Tours. While none was bigger than Woods’s offer, Major Championship winners such as Dustin Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau were reportedly paid a guaranteed $100 million.
6-time Championship winner Phil Mickelson tops the list, with a reported fee worth $200 million. He has confirmed his spot for eight LIV events this year, and ten in 2023.

The LIV Golf series concluded its third event on Sunday with Henrik Stenson, recently in the news for being stripped of his Ryder Cup captaincy, winning his first LIV Tour. While that finish helped him pocket an eye-watering $4 million, it is reportedly bleak compared to what LIV paid Stenson to join the series. According to various sources, the Swede was tipped $40 million to join the Saudi-backed series, which consequently resulted in the termination of his sponsorships and, most notably, his Team Europe captaincy.
