Golf fans went crazy after an old video of the 14-year-old Tiger Woods recently came to light on social media.

Game improvement editor Luke Kerr Dineen recently posted a video of teen Tiger swinging his club in a ‘loose’ fashion on his Twitter handle. Luke mentions how he finds the tempo of the swing, “Buttery Smooth”.

The fans have been in awe since the video has been posted on Twitter. Here are some of their reactions –

Tiger Woods’ game in 1990

The video that is being loved so much by the fans is from the year 1990. Woods always had a sense of maturity in his thoughts and in what he spoke publicly.

Retired army colonel and Tiger’s first golf coach, Rudy Duran, described young Woods as a kid that is “not exceptional” and said, “He’s way beyond that”.

The 15-time Major winner has been a gifted golfer ever since his childhood. At the young age of 14, he not only drove a golf ball to 265 yards but also shot a seven-under-par 63.

His father once proudly mentioned in an interview that he used to tee up the ball for Tiger on all his shots, but Woods simply holed out every putt.

Dreams have no age for Woods

Woods was ranked America’s third-best junior amateur in the year 1990, The golf genius has been a shining star in the United States’ golf community. He had massive dreams from the beginning of his career as a golfer.

The champion’s confidence has played an essential role in his journey. In his teen years, Tiger once quoted, “The game has never seemed hard, I don’t know why, but I’ve always been good.”

“That’s what I want,” young Tiger says, “I want to be the next dominant player. I want to go to college, turn pro and tear it up on the tour. I want to win more majors than anybody ever has.”

Even before the age of 14, Woods was noticeably on his way to being a professional golfer. It was clear when he shot 48 for nine holes near his house at the Navy Golf Club.

All of this even got Woods to “The Mike Douglas Show” at such a young age! He went there in his training pants, and competed against Bob Hope, who was a British comedian and actor, in a putting contest. Tiger also made it to the TV show called “That’s Incredible” at the budding age of 5.
