The much-awaited 2024 Grant Thornton Invitational is all set to begin in just a few hours. For the second time in a row, the special event will be featuring pairs of LPGA Tour pros with PGA Tour pros. While it is already a significant event because it marks the partnership between both leagues, it will be especially more exciting for one particular team – Rickie Fowler and Lexi Thompson.

Thompson will no longer play full-time golf, and this might be the last time she will be teaming up with Rickie Fowler. Last season, the duo finished T6, with a total score of 22 under par, seamlessly matching their pace and even their golf attire.

The Friday round at the Tiburon Golf Club will be the opening scramble round. Two groups will be teeing off together at one time, and Lexi Thompson and Rickie Fowler are paired with the second last group. They will be going up with Allisen Corpuz and Sahith Theegala at 10:30 am ET.

If Lexi Thompson manages to bag the win in her final appearance, she will be taking home a whopping $50,000. The last run is indeed going to be exciting. Catch the 2024 Grant Thornton Invitational on Golf Channel

Just like most other PGA Tour and LPGA Tour events, the main TV coverage of all the rounds of the 2024 Grant Thornton Invitational will be featured on the Golf Channel. On Friday, it will be broadcasting from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm ET. However, on Saturday and Sunday, the streaming will be split between Golf Channel and NBC.

For the second round, Golf Channel will feature the telecast from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, before NBC takes up the action display from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm ET. On Sunday, the splits will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm ET on Golf Channel and from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on NBC. You can also watch it on the NBC Sports app.
