The Zurich Classic witnessed an epic finish as Nick Hardy and Davis Riley teamed up to win the title for this year. However, despite everything that went on at the field, there was something special that has taken away all the attention of golf fans. And it is none other than the surprising bond between PGA Tour stars Keith Mitchell and Sungjae Im. In fact, a recent video displaying the unexpected closeness between the two is receiving all kinds of reactions from fans online!

After playing together at the 2023 Zurich Classic, Keith Mitchell and Sungjae Im have displayed signs of a developing friendship with each other. According to Mitchell, he wasn’t even going to appear at the tournament if it wasn’t for Sungjae. “Just a couple weeks ago. It was a late commit. I wasn’t planning on playing, and when you have the opportunity to play with such a superstar, you say yes,”. The friendship has already reached a level that Mitchell, an alumnus of the University of Georgia, didn’t think twice before inviting his newest buddy to be part of the Bulldog Nation. “What else did we learn today? I taught him about Georgia football. Aren’t you a Georgia fan now?” asked Mitchell. “Georgia fan, Bulldogs,” Sungjae replied.
