Now, with Good Good’s backing in the mix, the event is back with even more thrill and nail-biting competition at every hole. The upcoming edition would feature 12 golfers, two of whom would be from Goof Good Golf. The players would go head-to-head, competing for a spot in the Good Good Championship, a PGA Tour event scheduled for the fall next year.

As a result, the Big Break would serve as a tool to propel underdogs into the mainstream of golf. The event has always served this mission, with Tony Finau and Wesley Bryan among its reputed alumni. In fact, Blair O’Neal herself began her golfing career through the Big Break.

While she carded significant success in the AJGA, financial hurdles and a broken foot destroyed her momentum. Sitting out of golf for a brief interval, O’Neal began her modeling career.
