Rory McIlroy on why Greg needs to take a step back

The compromise between LIV Golf and the PGA Tour has been in talks for a while now. Recently, Rory McIlroy, a well-renowned professional golfer from Northern Ireland who is a member of both the European and PGA Tours, talked about a requisite to the peace talks.

According to Rory, Greg Norman has to take a step back in order for the two leagues to finally find a common ground where they can agree on something.

McIlroy said, “There are a few things that I would like to see on the LIV side that needs to happen. I think Greg needs to go. I think he just needs to exit stage left. He’s made his mark, but I think now is the right time.
