The life of an athlete is extremely strenuous. It is not often that they get time off to do what they love and relax. As a result, they regard off-season time as extremely valuable. They can be found doing exciting things and relaxing. The defending champion of the Tournament of Champions, Danielle Kang, spent her off-season on a safari in Kenya, owing to her love for animals.
Kang turned pro in 2012 and has since made her way to the top 20 in the world. With six tour victories and one major, she is certainly a force to be reckoned with.

Kang is up against 28 other LPGA Champions this week. Among them are world No. 2 Nelly Korda and others. Six of the current top-ten women’s rankings won’t be playing in the event, including Lydia Ko, yet the field is quite competitive. With the $1.5 million purse being one of the smallest total purses on the tour, the players are certainly more focused on claiming the title and the honor that comes with it.
