In recent times, Greg Norman has been in the spotlight a lot in the eyes of the media. Lately, the LIV Golf CEO has been spearheading the motives of the Saudi-backed side. Since then, the shark has constantly been in the news for LIV. But before that, Norman saw a time when he would be laughing and joking in interviews. One such interview came early in 2021, where he revealed how Augusta National once asked him to delete a photo of himself ahead of the Masters.
Norman has seen success both on and off the course. The shark chooses to remain in peak shape by regularly working out. He loves going to the gym and very often flaunts his great physique, despite it often causing an uproar among the fans.

Augusta worries about Greg Norman stealing the show at the Masters
In July 2021, Norman made an appearance via video on the Today Show for Australia. While he sat in Florida during the peak COVID days, the hosts, Allison Langdon and Karl Stefanovic, were only interested in one thing towards the end: one of Norman’s “cheeky photos” on Instagram.
The shark’s wife had taken a picture of him in the shower a few months before the interview. Norman was in the shower, facing the other side, and completely naked. The photo of his exposed bu*t rapidly spread across social media. But Norman explained that the post going up wasn’t the end of the incident at all.

The two-time major champion explained in the interview that ahead of the Masters that year he was forced to take down the post. He stated that he had been to Augusta to be on the Sirius XM radios for them. “They actually asked me to take down this post because they didn’t want the post to be the talk of that week at the Masters,” said the Australian golfer hilariously. “So, I had to take it off my account.”

Norman opens up about his freedom
The LIV Golf CEO opened up about how the photo was definitely not embarrassing, and he was proud of it. He stated, “Aussies are very outgoing people,” and added that only in America was it frowned upon sometimes. “It’s just one of those things. I’m a very natural person as you guys can tell,” he said, laughing with the hosts.

The shark stated that he loved his outlook on life and that he was proud of his body. He believed it was “not offensive” to be flaunted at all. “It is what it is, and Mother Nature was pretty good to me,” he stated. “I have the freedom of life.” Norman is certainly a very open golfer.
