Being golf’s biggest social media entity, fans consider and admire the words of Paige Spiranac. Understandably, she speaks her heart out whether it’s regarding the sport of golf or any other hot topic. As the Presidents Cup is underway, many fans have shared their excitement about the event. However, Spiranac isn’t fond of the International competition as she shares her honest thoughts on the event.

Over the years, Paige Spiranac has been sharing her ideas and thoughts on her podcast, ‘Playing A Round With Paige Renee.’ In the most recent episode, the former pro golfer talked about the ongoing Presidents Cup and shared her lack of excitement surrounding the event.

Paige Spiranac speaks up on the Presidents Cup

Since Spiranac does love predicting the winners of golf tournaments, the guest stated that he has money put on the international team. He also asked the former pro golfer if she was excited about the Presidents Cup. Spiranac’s response was crystal clear.

“Well, in the President’s cup has always been the worst”, said Paige Spiranac. She then adds how she was never fond of the tournament and how the past two events have been a letdown. Spiranac said, “Like I’ve never been like super excited for the President’s cup. Like it used to be interesting. And then the last like, couple have just been a little bit of a horrifying”.

However, the social media influencer then corrects herself when the guest asks about the 2019 Presidents Cup which was held in Australia. Spiranac recalls the last Presidents Cup, which to her stands was quite good, thanks to the presence of Tiger Woods.

The 2022 Maxim’s Sexiest Woman Alive said, “Australia. Is that where Tiger came to captain? Yeah, Tiger was captain. Okay. That was that was that was a good one. Yeah, that was a good one”. Though Spiranac may not be excited about the International competition, she wouldn’t mind watching the event.

However, many people have spoken against the Presidents Cup for being boring. But many golfers including Davis Love III, came in defense of the tournament stating that it gives opportunity to the younger talent. With Paige Spiranac being the latest personality to opt out of the fan club of the International competition, how long will the Presidents Cup fare in the near future?
