Paige Spiranac is mysteriously mum about the Solheim Cup.

This week after months of waiting the Solheim Cup is finally taking place. Representing team US in the event are prominent names on the tour. Both Team Europe and the US have reached Spain and all the players are sharing regular updates with their fans on social media.

And present at the event will be Natalie Gulbis for whom Paige has recently said “She is like a mentor to me,” She added, “I remember seeing Natalie Gulbis for the first time, and she was wearing the cutest outfit, and I wanted to be like her.” While the fans are expressing intermittent excitement for the event there are absolutely no comments from Spiranac.

All her social media accounts are deprived of any information about the Solheim Cup. Even a few weeks ago when the final players were declared for the team the golf influencer did not share her views or even wish them luck like she usually does to others.

The difference between LPGA and Paige Spiranac

Spiranac and the Tour players don’t see eye to eye. In the past, the golf diva failed to qualify for the Tour. And with her ever-booming fan following Spiranac gets offers from exclusive golf brands who seek her as the perfect ambassador for a wider reach. This has irked the pro golfers who see this as an unfair advantage that Paige gets despite not playing.

In 2016 after she was selected as the cover of Golf Digest in 2016, ESPN personality Sarah Spain, called out the magazine by saying,  “I don’t give many props to Golf Digest but I’ll give them props on finding a way to make it seem like it made sense to have this total nobody on their cover.”

However, Spiranac has never directly addressed the issue but her silence on all LPGA events is a testimony to her difference with them. Nevertheless, fans would love to see her sharing her thoughts on the Solheim Cup as well.
