‘Have We Reached That Point in Marriage…?’: Brooks Koepka’s Wife Jena Sims Posts a Puzzling Question

The 2022 season of the LIV Golf Invitational Series ended with the final team event held at Miami Trump National Doral Golf Club. While Dustin Johnson and his 4 Aces became the headline after winning the tournament on Sunday, Brooks Koepka also became a topic of interest, thanks to an interesting post from his wife. 

Jena Sims, the wife of Koepka, enjoys sharing her personal and professional life updates online. The American actress is known for sharing posts and stories often on Instagram with or without her husband. And this time, her Instagram Story involving the golfer has gained attraction from the golf world since it is hilarious. 

“Have we reached that point in marriage where we start to look alike?” Sims asked through Instagram Stories while sharing a photo of her and Koepka from the LIV team event. “Please say no (rolling on the floor laughing emoji),” her Story further read. 

When did Brooks Koepka marry Jena Sims? 

Jena Sims and the Smash GC captain tied the knot on June 4, 2022. The pair got married after dating for more than five years. 

Sims once told Golf Digest that the couple met during the 2015 Masters for the first time. “We were on Hole 7, which I don’t even remember,” she told GD. “But he’s (Koepka) like, ‘Oh, I remember what you were wearing, where we were standing, everything.’ It was cool.” 

Even though they met in 2015, the couple made their relationship official after she went to see the golfer win his first major at the U. S. Open. A couple of years later, Sims and Koepka made their red carpet debut at the 2017 ESPY Awards.

On March 3, 2021, the golfer finally asked his long-time girlfriend to be his forever one, and she said yes. Sims has documented and shared the event with the public through her Instagram profile. 

How much did Smash GC earn at the LIV Golf Miami event?

The total purse money of the LIV Golf team event was a whopping $50 million, with the winning team bagging $16 million. Since Johnson‘s 4 Aces won the event, the team members earned $4 million each. 

On the other hand, Koepka’s Smash GC could only secure the third position with their overall 4-over 292 on Sunday. According to the prize distribution chart, the team has won $6 million from the entire purse. 

With the season end of the LIV Golf, it is unsure when the golf world can watch Brooks Koepka play again. However, with him and his wife sharing their personal and professional updates online, his fans will get to know when he will make an appearance.
