Paige Spiranac has always been very open about her views regarding everything going on in the sports world. The ex-professional golfer often gives her opinions regarding sports on social media and her podcast. And in a recent episode of her podcast, Spiranac talked about how Brooks Koepka and other former PGA Tour players have changed since they switched tours.

Paige Spiranac talks about Brooks Koepka’s change after joining LIV Golf
Spiranac has always been honest about everything she speaks related to other players. And in an episode of “Playing A Round with Paige Renee”, she explained how Brooks Koepka showed signs of change ever since he joined LIV Golf. Koepka joined LIV Golf and simultaneously, the PGA Tour increased its purses for all events.

However, Koepka didn’t join the new league for the money. The golfer said that the shorter game schedules on LIV Golf would give him “a little bit more time off“ the field. But Spiranac said that many LIV players including Koepka were trying too hard to be liked. “He wants to be this cool guy,” Spiranac said. And to support her statement, Spiranac mentioned how Koepka and some other players received so much hate and disrespect for the first time.
“I think that a lot of guys when they went over to the LIV Tour getting hate for kind of the first time. I think Brooks got it more than some other players,” Spiranac said. She said that these players might have had a hard time trying to deal with everything. Because earlier they were all protected by a “PGA Tour bubble”. She also talked about how Koepka had been going through a lot in his life including recovering from injuries and getting married.

Spiranac talked about Koepka getting emotional
The ex-professional golfer talked about how Koepka got all teary when he won the recent LIV Golf event in Jeddah. As seen in his post-game interview, Koepka admitted that before the Jeddah victory, he thought at some point that his career was over. However, LIV Golf brought back his confidence in his skills and himself.

Talking about the same, Spiranac said, “It was interesting to see that he was emotional…I mean, to show that a tournament when on LIV meant that much to him.” And she was right about it since every Koepka fan could see how happy he was after the victory!
