Tiger Woods finally teed up at the 2022 Masters on Thursday. In November, the 15-time major championship winner played his first official event since the 2020 Masters in November. Moreover, golf fans part from seeing his mesmerizing golf swing even heard a word from him in the first round yesterday that every golf fan would not appreciate.

Woods started his 2022 Masters camping on a morning start on Thursday. The World Golf Hall of Fame member teed off at 11:04 AM ET with Louis Oosthuizen and Joaquin Niemann. Moreover, Tiger is making his comeback to professional golf after suffering from severe injuries due to a car accident he met in February last year.

Woods was out of golf for nearly nine months, and the 2022 Masters is the first official event he is playing since the 2021 edition of the major event, where he finished in tied 38th position.

However, Tiger had one of his breakdown moments during his comeback round at Augusta National Golf Club. The 82-time PGA Tour winner missed the fairway on par four, 46o yards ninth hole. As a result, his ball ended up in the pine straw. Moreover, as he was hitting his second shot from the pine straw, he hit it pretty well. But the ball hit the slope on the green and rolled off down the green. Moreover, the fans on the mics could hear Tiger say, “F**k off.” However, Woods managed to make par on that hole.

As soon as the news broke about Woods’ breakdown at Augusta, golf Twitter became a frenzy. Golf fans from all over the globe started to react to Tiger’s obscene comment on the ninth hole on Thursday. Moreover, most Tiger fans responded by saying that this marks his comeback to golf. While others condemned his words as the brand ambassador of the sport, a few others said they could relate to Woods.

What did Woods shoot in his first round at the 2022 Masters?
Tiger played some exceptional golf on his return to Augusta National. The five-time Masters champion opened his 2022 camping at the major championship event with a round of one-under-par, 73. Tiger started his front nine with five consecutive pars and made a birdie on the sixth hole. However, Woods would lose one shot on the ninth hole after carding a bogey. As a result, he moved out in level-par, 36. Tiger made two birdies and one bogey on the back nine for his tied 10th finish after round one. He is currently four shots off the lead.
