Recently, news came to light about Golf Channel’s lead analyst, Brandel Chamblee, being excited to watch the 82-time PGA Tour winner compete in the Masters. “What I saw earlier this year from Tiger Woods made me look forward to the Masters with great anticipation. He certainly has the world of golf’s attention,” he said, as per TW Legion and NUCLR Golf.

While someone is excited to see him play may sound like news that would put a smile on the golf pro’s face, it quickly turned into a nightmare. Fans began flooding the posts, expressing their disagreement with the analyst.

They claimed that Augusta was one of the toughest navigable courses and that Woods could never perform well in his already ailing condition. Some even claimed that the golf legend had no shot at the green jacket event this year.

Fans further chimed in, claiming that the PGA Tour legend’s best days were way in the past and that now he was “in no shape to go all the way.” The fans believed that Woods’ performance next month at Augusta would be underwhelming!
