LIV Golf pro, Phil Mickelson, is focused on winning this year. He has been leading HY Flyers GC since the last year. However, his team has seen many teammates come and go. Phil Mickelson praised his new team member James Piot

The official Twitter handle of the LIV Golf team HY Flyers GC, posted a video of the team engaging in a fun question-answer session. Mickelson commented on the video. In the video, Brendan Steele, Cameron Tringale, and the 24-year-old golfer, Piot, were asked to reveal who has the best sunglasses on the team. Piot’s reply was hilarious; therefore, Mickelson took matters into his hands. He said, “Piot was right. He was required.”

Like the team captain, Piot also knows how to have fun. He replied, “I feel like I’m required to say Phil now. Personally, I think I might have them, but I’m going to go with Phil.” And that is why the team captain made the ‘required’ comment. However, Steele and Tringale also chose Mickelson. The team is also having fun but is focused on the game. Earlier, they shared a LIV Crash course and proved their marketing strategies had been improved.

Ahead of the LIV Tucson event, he praised the pro and said, “He brings a very youthful energy; and his willingness to put in the work, as well as his curiosity to learn and get better, makes him a great addition.”
