LIV Golf has been having an incredible season this year, despite some hurdles. The most crucial reason for the success is Brooks Koepka’s first major as a LIV golfer. Secondly, the league’s Australia event had a huge turnout and was a huge success. The Saudi League was then also able to crack a multi-year deal with Sentosa Golf Club, Singapore, to host annual events there. It seems that the streak of good days is just continuing, as LIV Golf broke yet another record during its seventh event in Washington, DC.

For their latest achievement, the league has no one but their dear fans to thank as they add more success to their already flourishing league with a new record!

The Saudi-backed league was in Washington, DC, for its seventh leg of the season. The event was being held at the Trump National Golf Course, and of course, former President Trump and an open LIV supporter were present. The business tycoon even played at the pro-am of the event, garnering tons of attention from the golf world.

Well, the ex-POTUS being there was not the only great thing about this $25 million event. It seems like the fans were also way too excited for this event. Perhaps it was also because they wanted to see the winner of the 105th PGA Championship tee it up. Whatever the reason might be, fans helped the LIV Golf event break a record by being the most-attended LIV event in the US. It certainly was a stunning milestone for the league, considering they’ve been on a roll of high-turnout events of late!

To date, one of the most successful events that LIV has had was in Adelaide, Australia, where more than 60,000 fans came to see their favorite golfers compete. And that major feat, followed by this significant milestone that the new series achieved in DC, left them more than grateful to the fans. On the board at the event, in capital letters, the words “THANK YOU FANS” were displayed!

Ever since its incorporation, Trump has been one of LIV’s biggest supporters. From openly voicing his backing of the Saudi Tour to lashing out at those who dissed them, the former President has left no stone unturned when it comes to LIV. And it’s not him alone; his family is always cheering the new series on! His son, Eric Trump, too, once spoke about the league’s success in 2022 and how excited they were to spike things together in 2023.

Moreover, two of the LIV events were organized at Trump golf courses in 2022, and the number increased to three events in 2023. The two upcoming events of the Rebel League in Florida and New Jersey will once again be held at Trump’s golf courses. But will the businessman be there as well, cheering on the flourishing series? Only time will tell!
