The Scottish Open, which takes place before its guardian tournament Open Championship has already declared its winner with a hefty payout of $1,575,000. Now, that the game is over, the public is hyped with their latest winner Rory McIlroy. He is the hot topic of the golf community and which is why even the nitty-gritty of his best shots and footage from last week’s match is a part of the discussion.

What unusual footage got the golf community wonderstruck?

 With his enthralling win, McIlroy is all over social media. Hence, fans are also taking to the comment section of those social media posts, with several golf-related, game-related, and camera angle-related opinions. Out of all these, unusual footage on Instagram almost peaked mayhem. When dug deeper, it was revealed that there is a video of McIlroy’s shot which was posted on Instagram and has a better coverage range than most of the popular telecast channels.

In that footage, the masterclass swung his club really well amidst the difficulties of the course. His five-iron tee shot to within 5 feet of the par-3 penultimate hole to draw level was an absolute beauty, followed by a 2-iron to shoot a breathtaking 200-yard effort onto the eighteenth green. A putter from 11 feet in height was not easily feasible.

This footage and McIlroy’s shot caught the attention of fans readily. The man who shot the footage was also credited in the caption of the post. Fans even compared this video to being of better coverage than CBS broadcasting and showered the post with their comments applauding the man’s great vision with the camera.
