The former PGA pro, Phil Mickelson, was the talk of the town in 2022 for making the switch to LIV. Fans scrutinized, and the feud between the tour continued. However, nothing made him change his decision to join the Saudi-backed circuit. However, it’s the new year, and ‘lefty’ has become a topic of discussion for something other than golf. This time, his tweets are the point of attraction for netizens and golf enthusiasts, especially regarding Tiger Woods and the PGA Tour.

Around 2019-2021 Mickelson rose to prominence as one of the golf world’s funniest, most entertaining, and most active followers. He frequently engaged in late-night Q&As with fans while returning from his historic victory at the 2021 PGA. The LIV defector often posted irreverent videos and engaged in viral jabs and smack talk. But everything changed for Mickelson once he joined LIV Golf 2022.

However, his recent tweets suggest the pro golfer is back with his same flair for sarcasm. Let’s dig deeper and find out what he said about the PGA Tour.

February 2022 was his last transmission for months. The pro golfer wrote a lengthy apology, “I know I have not been my best and desperately need some time away to prioritize the ones I love most and work on being the man I want to be.” After that, his Twitter account became equal to a non-existent handle until June 6, 2022. He tweeted announcing his return to the game and his formal start with LIV Golf at London’s tour’s opening tournament.
