Abraham Ancer, Brooks Koepka, Patrick Reed, and Bryson DeChambeau will all be competing. Considering where they all rank in the Official World Golf Rankings, this group gives the new league a great deal of credibility. Thanks to the four new players, the league now boasts eight players ranked among the top 40 in the OWGR.

On Monday, the series also welcomed Carlos Ortiz, Eugenio Chacarra, and Matthew Wolff. At No. 17, Dustin Johnson remains the top-ranked golfer in the world, but Koepka, who is ranked No. 19, is right behind him. Reed is ranked No. 39, while DeChambeau is No. 31.

However, because the LIV tournaments are not counted toward the standings, those rankings will inevitably deteriorate over the coming weeks.
