Lee debuted at THE PLAYERS Championship last year, finishing up in a tie for the sixth position. After his outstanding performance, he was often hooted for his ‘Let him cook’ motto, which became his tagline every time he entered the course. Lululemon on his sponsor list and becoming the first male golfer on the brand’s roster is a standing testament to Lee’s fame. Despite his huge fan following, Lee recently went ‘unrecognized’ by a security guard.

His words, as told to PGATour.com shows that the Australian golfer is still a few steps away from being a famous golfer that he always wanted to be. He said while having one of the busiest days with back to back shoots and interviews, “Managing my time is probably the biggest thing. I wouldn’t say I’m famous, but for people that are famous, I understand a little of what they go through and why they want to be secluded, but it’s all perspective. This is exactly what I wanted when I was 15.” However, as he answered and was about to walk by, a security guard stopped him and was asked to show his credentials before he could get in.
