Morgane Metraux has known her boyfriend, Harry Ellis, for over a decade. Since starting her LPGA Tour journey in 2022, Metraux has had her share of ups and downs and has now made it to the Paris Olympics. Through it all, Harry Ellis has been by her side. Much like Metraux’s path to the LPGA, the start of their love story is equally interesting.

Harry Ellis, just like Morgane Metraux, is an alumnus of Florida State University. The couple started dating on  November 1, 2013 and has been together ever since, marking almost 11 years of togetherness. 10 years ago, Ellis offered to walk Metraux home. However, the distance was barely 150 yards, but who could have guessed it would lay the foundation for a relationship lasting over 10 years?

Ellis himself talked about their story on Instagram while sharing a post on their ninth anniversary. “9 years ago today I offered to walk @morganemetraux home… just some 150yards… I often think it is probably my best execution ever from that distance As you know, I love you lots,” he said while captioning the post. The couple hasn’t shared the specific details of their story, but it’s clear that it all began with that walk and even before their college days.

Ellis’ support for Metraux goes even further, as he has occasionally taken on the role of her caddie, sharing a close bond with her both on and off the course. Just like her boyfriend, Morgane Metraux also showcases their relationship on social media. After celebrating 6 years of togetherness, Metraux shared a post back in November 2020 captioning “6 years and so many memories together,” with a heart emoji. This beautiful couple likes to go on vacations and dine together.

Ellis was born on September 11, 1995, and spent his college life at Florida State University. His Instagram bio says “Former British Amateur and English Amateur” with a lot of pictures of him playing golf. However, he has only played four events on the PGA Tour. Although he earned membership for this season’s PGA Tour Canada, thanks to his victory last year, there aren’t any reports of him playing events there.

However, Ellis does actively play on the European Challenge Tour, and his last event was the Euram Bank Open, where he finished at T60. The 28-year-old has not won any events yet at the European Tour, with his best performance being a T16 finish at Golf Club Schloss Ebreichsdorf, where he recorded a total score of 276, 12-under-par.
