Out of the 10 grandchildren, Donald Trump has, one has surely grasped his love for golf and is following on that path. The 17-year-old Kai Trump has showcased her immaculate skills on the greens as she regularly posts on her Instagram account and astonishes the fans as they see a future LPGA Tour star.

If Kai’s videos were not enough to prove her prowess in the game of golf, many pros have come forward to validate her gameplay. The biggest being the 2-time US Open winner, Bryson DeChambeau. In late December 2023, the 17-year-old played a round of golf with the former POTUS, DeChambeau, and 3x Reigning World Long Drive Champion, Kyle Berkshire. Later, she posted a snippet from that day on her Instagram account. The LIV Golf pro was in awe of Kai’s swing, which he called “pure.” 

Whereas, Berkshire cheered on the young golfer and said, “Game is looking great Kai!” In another instance, Kai Trump played with the long-drive champion, and he told her, “Great playing with you, Kai! You can bomb it.” Not only these two, but the LPGA Tour pro, Dani Holmqvist, had also complimented Kai and her resilience in pursuing golf.

The Sweden native went gaga for Kai as she accompanied her for a practice session last year in July in the scorching heat. Holmqvist, appreciating Kai, said, “So proud of your hard work and dedication. Coming out early this morning in the 100-degree heat to work on your game says a lot.”

Kai Trump has been an avid golfer and started her golfing journey at the age of 2, courtesy of her mother. Thus, her growing command of the game of golf is given and expected. The 17-year-old currently plays for the Benjamin High School Varsity Team and has eyes to take her high school team to new heights, but has she won any events in her amateur career?

Kai Trump will be graduating from Benjamin High School in 2026, and given her prowess in the game of golf, the 17-year-old has been appointed as a captain for the Varsity Team. So far, Trump still has to take Benjamin High School to the winner’s podium. However, in her career, she has already won two times.

In 2022, Kai Trump won the Women’s Club Championship, and her second victory came in March 2024 at her grandfather’s golf course, the Trump International Palm Beach Golf Course and Country Club. She won the Ladies Club Championship, while Donald Trump won the Senior Club Championship. With her on-course success, Kai Trump has recorded a low handicap of +0.5, which, in comparison to other amateurs like Charlie Woods.

Kai now continues her career and academics and wishes to follow her athletic career, even at the collegiate level. With her continued success, Kai Trump might become the next best woman golfer in the upcoming years.
