The Argentine professional, Angel Cabrera, has been matching his age with professional wins. The 55-year-old has a total of 55 professional wins, including the 2009 Masters and 2007 US Open. Even as his birthday is approaching on 12th September, he is already in the process of increasing the count to 56 with his PGA Tour Champions’ ongoing performance. Cabrera has been in the headlines for his career and legal issues. But there is little info about his marriage to Yamila Alvarez. What do we know about the 55-year-old’s personal life?

Cabrera was imprisoned on the charges of assaulting, threatening, and harassing his partner. Eventually, he met his future wife and partner for life, Yamila Alvarez. The pair dated for four long years, and despite the hardship in personal life, Alvarez has been a constant supporter of Cabrera.

The golfer, thanks to his good behavior, was among the few inmates who got to meet his partner fortnightly, as per an ESPN report. It stated, “Cabrera was among inmates granted two-hour visits with partners every 15 days because of good behavior.”

The family hit a major milestone in 2022 with the birth of Angel Cabrera’s son, Felipe. As soon as he got out of prison, Cabrera turned his 2022 engagement into marriage with Yamila Alvarez in August 2023.

Cabrera and Alvarez together have only one son, Felipe, but with past partners, the count is four.
