Thomas and Spieth both played at the Tour Championship this year. However, their performance was not as good as McIlroy’s! Justin Thomas tied with Max Homa at the fifth place which had an award of $3,000,000. Since they were tied, Thomas and Homa pocketed $2.75 million each from the tournament. While Jordan Spieth tied at 13th place with Aaron Wise and took home $825,000 from the event.

He stated“I played beautifully yesterday, didn’t miss a shot today…I did what I needed to do”. Unfortunately, it was not Thomas’ day to claim victory over the FedEx Cup title this year. However, he still poses great competition to most golfers on the PGA Tour as well as all the major tournaments.
