The golf world often encounters people who do strange things to get attention, especially things that damage the course. However, this time it is not human effort that has caused damage to a golf course; it is animal intrusion instead.
And just like how the fans take to trashing the people who set out to destroy the beautiful courses, they left no stone unturned for the viscous creatures too, who have ruined this golf course, making the scene look absolutely disastrous!

Animals turn the greens of the golf course brown
The Instagram page Zire Golf recently re-shared a video of a golf course in ruins after an animal attack. The video was originally shared by the page of Golf St. Genis, France. Their caption explained that this wasn’t the first attack either! What was it, though, that was causing the disruption on the course?
Well, it was “wild boars” that had taken a liking to the course, or in this case, a disliking! In the video, we can see that the boars had turned the green upside down, and the mud showed up in various spots.
The third green in particular is showing in the clip, and it has been rendered entirely unplayable before an extensive effort from the maintenance team fixes it. Before this, it was the greens of the 6th that had been overturned completely by the boars!

Although there were many interesting comments by fans, this one comment stole the show. “Maybe it’s because I’m dumb and I live in the suburbs of California but why would wild boars purposely attack the ground like that?”
Surely, many can relate more to that question than others. However, many of the remaining comments shed more light on what had gone down on the course—or at least trolled on it! Let’s explore some more humorous responses to the video.
Wit, insights, and wordplay fill the comment section
The reactions were hilarious. While some commenters focused on their verbal skills and flaunted their wordplay, a few others offered advice and insight. There were those who showed off their sarcasm and were making jokes about the situation.
“I guess they were boared,” wrote one fan hilariously, using the pun of the animals being boars!
A hungry fan moreover, started drooling at the potential bacon opportunity the boars brought and commented, “Time for bacon.”
Another golf enthusiast used the video to show that he was frustrated with paying green fees to ill-maintained courses. “Course still going to take that $75 green fee and not say a dam thing about hole 3 🤣🤣”

A valuable insight from an experienced hand chimed in as well. “Mating season,” he explained, was a possible reason as to why the boars wrecked the course. “My club regularly has hired hunters on the course at the same time and we have to take turns being quiet for each other shots. #truestory”
One well-behaved and hilarious fan trolled about how boars had no manners. “How rude of them not to fix their ball marks!!🤣😂
Another fondly imagined how the boars would have enjoyed the experience while they happily tore away at the green. “Looks like they had a great time I wonder if they took any pictures.”
