Speaking about the event, which will be held at the Greystone Golf & Country Club for the ninth time, he said, “I’m playing Birmingham. I love Regions. They’re a great sponsor.” Many more in a 78-player field are competing for a purse of $2,600,000. The battle for the win begins on May 15, and here’s a complete viewing guide if you want to watch the veteran golfers swing off like their younger counterparts from the comfort of your home (all times are in CT).

It seems the Regions Tradition Golf Tournament decided to make a splash before the first tee-off! With rain pouring down, the tournament got a head start on the wet and wild festivities, proving that even Mother Nature wanted to join in on the action. However, it came with some consequences. The rain caused PGA officials and the Greystone Golf and Country Club to make last-minute adjustments ahead of the Regions Tradition Golf Tournament. Despite the hiccup, the Greystone Golf & Country Club will still see action from its three-time champion, Steve Stricker.

Stricker is playing pretty well. In 2024, for instance, the American had 11 top-10 finishes, including a T3 finish at the 2024 Regions Tradition. Additionally, his history with the event is strong, having won the Regions Tradition in 2019, 2022, and 2023.

Another player to watch out for is Miguel Angel Jiménez. The Spanish golfer has achieved two wins this season—the Trophy Hassan II and the Hoag Classic—and has a total of 7 top-10 finishes so far. The only setback in the 2018 champion’s side comes from his 2024 Regions Tradition finish (T32).

Bernhard Langer may be struggling a little on the greens right now, considering he is still in his recovery phase; however, the German golfer is an amazing player with 2016 and 2017 Regions Tradition wins in his hands! Aside from Langer, we have John Daly, who skipped the PGA Championship to play at the Regions Tradition; Ernie Els; Stewart Cink; and Retief Goosen, among others present on the course. Considering the amazing list of players present on the field, the competition will likely be tough.
