The race sure looks intense, as a lot is at stake. The winner would also be awarded 500 points, which could help him to get an exemption for the PGA Championship. The European Tour members who finish in positions 1 to 3 only in the final Asian Swing ranking will be exempt into the season’s second major. Apart from the defending champion Sarit Suwannarut and pros like McKibbin and Soderberg, there is also one more competitor worth watching this week.

Top contenders who can win the Asian Swing
With the final Asian Swing event highly anticipated, speculation is already building about who will emerge victorious. Notably, top contenders, Nakajima who is second on the list with 572.54 points, Marcel Schneider, and Matthieu Pavon are absent from the DP World Tour this week, redirecting attention to Jesper Svensson, currently ranked number three with 500 points. Svensson’s impressive win at the Laguna National Golf Resort Club, where he secured his first DP World Tour title, has further fueled expectations.
A lucrative 500 Race to Dubai points awaits the champion in China, along with an exemption into the 2024 US PGA Championship. Although only the top three finishers among DP World Tour members can secure this exemption, Nakajima remains in contention thanks to his first position on the International Federation List, keeping his chances alive.
