Anthony Kim has been in the news a lot recently. The 37-year-old has been linked with a move to LIV Golf. However, he has been brought back to controversy with an ongoing lawsuit against LIV Golf.

Though the PGA Tour filed the lawsuit, they faced a new challenge when the court asked to reveal the names of all the players as per the question of Interrogatory No. 1. It states to identify each individual who communicated on behalf of PGA Tour with any other Tour members or entity regarding any New Tour, like LIV Golf in this case.

Anthony Kim spoke about LIV Golf to PGA Tour
Following the court’s order, the PGA Tour presented the list of 31 players who were allowed to speak on behalf of the Tour since 1st September 2019. However, the exhibit was later increased to 179 entities.

As per the reports, the entities did mention to the PGA Tour officials about LIV Golf or the Premier Golf League. The list included the Los Angeles-born Anthony Kim. Nonetheless, Kim has been commonly injured in recent years and hasn’t participated in the Tour since 2012.

Reports also suggested that Kim had an insurance policy that would pay him in the region of $10-20 million in the case of a career-ending injury. His comeback has always been a question of speculation.
Whilst he was still fit, Anthony Kim had three wins on the PGA Tour and played a prominent role in the American Team’s win against Team Europe in the 2008 Ryder Cup. However, rumors have been swirling around Kim to become the latest LIV Golf defector.
