According to a reputed industry official, LIV tried to reach out to many broadcasters, including NBC, CBS, Disney, Apple, and Amazon but failed. Whereas Fox Sports only engaged at Lachlan Murdoch’s request, who happens to be the executive chairperson and CEO of Fox Corp.

According to a story in Sports Business Journal, the secret helping hand is Jared Kushner, son-in-law of Donald Trump. According to a source that had all the information about the deal conversation between Fox and LIV, Fox is the final choice, but the process will take time. The media giant rejected LIV’s requests for a definite time slot on network television. It also dismissed the rights fee for the second year of any arrangement.
