There are several golf etiquette to follow while playing a tournament. Although there are rarely any punishments for breaking them, the golf world expects players to abide by them. However, DeChambeau once broke one of them and his cool, and regretted it instantly.

Bryson DeChambeau apologized to golf spectators for his actions

“I want to apologize to my fans, fellow players, and the staff at Chapultepec for my actions following the round yesterday,” DeChambeau said. The 28-year-old expressed his apologies a day after the camera caught him ramming his putter into a practice green while playing the 2019 WGC Mexico Championship. Notably, golf fans had a negative reaction to the incident.

“I am an extremely passionate player,” he added. “And I am always working on ways to be better.” The 2020 US Open champion explained that he doesn’t think that he is perfect. “But I respect the grounds staff and the game of golf,” he further added. “And (I) am focused on working harder on this just like I do on my golf game.”
