“When I finally confronted the guy and said, ‘I can’t believe you did this to me’, he said — and I’ll never forget this — ‘You are the sl*t who sent it to me’…He said, ‘You deserve this,” Spiranac recalled. Tensed about the whole situation, Spiranac would wake up every morning worried about what would happen. It can be mentally torturous for a person to go through so much at the cost of trusting someone. “I can never escape this picture,” she said.
