In her podcast, she revealed that she cheated in golf once but learned her lesson because of her mother. After a couple of Ladies’ European Tour events, the golf beauty emerged as a famous personality and won the Cactus Tour match in Arizona.

She said, “I cheated myself once, and I learned my lesson the very hard way.” It was one of her first tournaments, where she hit the ball right into the water on the course. However, she was already on a very steep slope; therefore, she thought of a dishonest way. The internet beauty dropped another ball and said that she found the original ball. However, it did not go well with her mother. Spiranac’s mother used to arrange her golf bag at night, and she noticed only five balls in the bag. 

Her mother asked the former LPGA player about the missing ball in her bag? Spiranac went numb, and her mother gave her the most fierce look. Her words that followed, were startling but honest. Her mother said she would forbid her from playing golf if she ever cheated again. Spiaranac loves her mother; she knows well that disappointing her is a big no. Therefore, she learned her lesson. 

Spiranac’s mother is the best guide

Spiranac’s mother has always guided her in the right direction. And it seems Spiranac does not make mistakes out of the fear of disappointing her. In one of her podcast episodes, ”Wasp Stings + Q&A,” she revealed a shocking detail about her college days. Since they homeschooled Spiranac the whole time, she had let her hair down when she entered college. 

Even though she was partying hard, drinking, and having lots of fun, one thing petrified her… It was drugs. Never in her college life had she touched or experimented with them. Why? Because of her mother. The mother-daughter duo used to take drug classes together, and her mother scared her into thinking that if she had drugs, she would die. Since then, she has been afraid of drugs.
