Over the years, Bryson DeChambeau has steadily grown to become one of the most prominent names in the golf world. His fame has not only made him one of the most looked-upon players in tournaments but has also made him a popular face on social media.
However, with the ups of the internet, also comes its lows. A glimpse of this was recently seen in a tweet by World Hall of Famer, Vijay Singh.

Bryson DeChambeau is yet to achieve recognizable success in LIV Golf. Mid of last month (September), he played the Chicago leg of the Saudi Arabia-backed league, finishing in the 10th spot. However, it wasn’t his game but an off-course incident that made the headlines. Walking on the course, he walked into a rope, hurting his face. An incident, that took no time to catch the eye of social media users, including Vijay Singh.

Recently, Singh was in Cary, North Carolina to play in the SAS Championship. A winner of 3 major championships, the Fijian player gave a shot at giving a glimpse of his prime form. However, failing to do so, he, with a score of -4, finished at T25 on the leaderboard. Following his final shots, Singh headed off the course, crossing a rope.
Even though he crossed the rope with ease, it made him recall the incident of DeChambeau. A memory, that struck the former World No. 1 with an idea of taking a dig at the now LIV Golfer, DeChambeau. Taking to his Twitter handle, Singh shared a photo of him crossing the rope, captioning it “See Bryson DeChambeau? Lift then duck.”

Considering the aura of Singh, the post took no time to spread around the golf world, gathering some noteworthy reactions. Digging into the comments sections, a reply read, “Holy smokes I didn’t see this internet brutality coming!!! Top Roper!”

This wasn’t all. Walking on the same path as the above user, numerous other golf fans also used their Twitter handles to express their views on the dig by Singh. While some fans praised Singh for his hilarious side, others once again took a dig at the ‘mad scientist’ of golf.
Okay. I didn’t know @VijaySinghGolf was that funny but this is great!
