During the interview, he went honestly and said he does not spend much time with Woods. He did not like the fact that the person closer to the G.O.A.T. was getting trapped by the media. Villegas did not want to be trapped in a golfer’s life but wanted to make his own identity. He said, “All the eyes were on Tiger, then you see the guys who are close to him, and they get trapped from a media point of view to the Tiger life, and I didn’t want that.” He only got closer to the PGA golfer when he played a few practice rounds with him.

However, the Colombian golfer clarified that he had nothing against the 82 times PGA tour winner. He even accepted that it was hard to be Woods for one day, even though people wanted to be with him.
