His Airness, Michael Jordan’s supreme style of playing basketball, is not unknown to anyone. However, his second passion for golf is not far behind. Jordan valued his love for golf and dedicated time and energy to learn it. Long back, when he was in his initial days of learning the dynamic game of golf, he asked Ed Ibarguen for help. He is the kind of person who would give his all to learn. The same happened when MJ approached PGA Hall of Famer, Ed Ibarguen, to teach him to play golf. He requested Ed to give him lessons even though he had no money to pay him. He pledged his dedication and hard work to Ibarguen.
Remembering the same, Ibarguen said, “I happened to be in the right place at the right time when Michael Jordan took an interest in golf.”

So, Ed Ibarguen gave him lessons and helped him work on his golfing game. Truly, a good teacher is what makes a good student a long way and Ibarguen proved to be just that.

However, he also talked about how his supreme set of physical abilities makes him the ideal golfer. He also has an upper hand when it comes to visualizing shots. All in all, a good player has both pros and cons at their disposal and it is upon their behest which skillset to sharpen first.
