Jordan and Scottie went to the pickleball court recently. The famous duo, however, faced a completely different situation from what they expected. Pickleball is basically an indoor or outdoor racket or paddle sport in which two or four players use solid-faced paddles to hit a perforated hollow polymer ball over a 36-inch-high net. The two teams alternately hit the ball over the net until one of them violates a rule.

Spieth was asked about his experience on the court. However, things did not go all too well for this pro golfer on the hard course.

He said, “It was a really weird feeling going in front of a big crowd knowing you were the worst on the court and I didn’t like that at all. I’m fine in front of a crowd if I know that I’ve practiced and I’m good at what I’m going to do. But I wouldn’t say like I’m bad, but when you’re the worst of the ones that are going to be on there and there’s like 500 people there, you’re like this kind of stinks, I don’t really enjoy this.”

Clearly, Jordan’s time playing the game was not as he expected it to be.

Spieth on whether LIV Golf has been a ‘Catalyst’ to recent changes on the PGA Tour

A lot has been changing ever since LIV came into the picture. The professional golfing league has acted as a catalyst for much-needed changes for the PGA Tour. However, not everyone shares the same opinions on the issue.

While some people completely agree with the statement, others have a slightly different way of seeing this. Jordan Spieth, for one, has clear reasoning for his assumption. When asked what he thinks about the issue, he clearly provided reasons for the same.

He said,Well, I think certainly it’s impossible to not think that that was a catalyst for continuing to want to make sure that our, the players that we have on the PGA Tour now stay on the PGA Tour. Would this have gone in that direction this soon? Maybe not, but to say that it wouldn’t have happened in general, I’m not sure.”

He added, “But I think that that certainly has been a catalyst for looking at the product as a whole and figuring out how to make it the best it can possibly be and maximize the strength of fields at the biggest events.”
