Nonetheless, Sergio Garcia accepted his mistake and apologized to the 15-time Major winner. Ahead of the 2013 BMW PGA Championship, Garcia apologized to the European Tour and most importantly to Tiger Woods. He said, “Most importantly, I want to apologize to Tiger and anybody I could have offended. I feel sick about it. I’m truly sorry.

The Spaniard revealed he wanted to apologize to Tiger personally, but didn’t have his phone number. “It was obviously a bad comment that I shouldn’t have been said,” said Garcia, who contended he meant nothing racially offensive with his remark. The 2017 Masters winner ended by claiming he tried to be funny, but in the end, it ended up crossing the line. However, he apologized one last time again.
