In a recent episode of her podcast, Spiranac talked about how under-confident and insecure she was while taking that decision. “Didn’t think anyone was going to buy it,” Spiranac said. “I felt stupid doing it. I felt super narcissistic. It was just something that I wasn’t really confident about,”. Spiranac mentioned being confused about the thought of why anyone would want to see her face on a towel.

However, opposite to what she expected, things went pretty well with her golf towel business. And she gave all the credit to her team. “They pushed me to do it and it has been something that has been so much fun,” she said. All her fans loved her towels and the team was able to hit huge sales.

Spiranac always trusts her gut

While talking about her insecurity related to the towel business, Spiranac mentioned having a gut feeling that it wouldn’t work. However, she also said that her gut feeling is correct “99.9%” of the time and that she always prefers going with it. Other than the towel business, Spiranac believes that she has never been wrong with her gut feeling. She even said that when she looks back at the time, it was only her insecurity that was stopping her from executing the towel business idea.

Spiranac quit her golfing career a long time ago. However, this decision wasn’t influences by gut feeling. The ex-golfer tried to qualify for the LPGA Tour but failed. But to everyone’s surprise, today she has a bigger and more successful career than she could ever have had playing professional golf. According to Spiranac, she is the best in the field that she works in and aspires to go even higher!
