Over the past few years, Jon Rahm has emerged as of the most popular figures in golf. Naturally, fans end up loving more than just the athlete’s game, also invested in their personal life. This holds true for Rahm, who has often spoken about his wife Kelly Cahill.

Rahm himself shared photos of his wife on social media, with fans happy to see the couple together.

However, their journey is not without hardships. During an old interview, Rahm shared some details about their relationship back in college, and how that has helped him shape up today. After all, the road to becoming World No. 1 was not easy.

How did Jon Rahm start his relationship?

Back in 2019, Rahm spoke to Golf Digest before getting married to Cahill. They asked Rahm about the start of their journey, which dated back to their time in Arizona State.

“I had no money. I was living on a couple hundred bucks a month at most, so I had a budget,” Rahm said.

He mentioned a place called ‘Zenejas’, which they frequented because of the food and margaritas–and also because it was not expensive. “But we have some disagreement about this—we don’t know if that was our first official date, or if it was at a football game”. 

With career earnings crossing

$30 million, Rahm has come a long way as a professional golfer. He has won six PGA Tour events, which includes his 2021 US Open win. Cahill has always been at his side, even supporting him by attending games.

Rahm and Cahill are expecting their second baby

According to Rahm’s birthday tweet for Cahill, the couple is now expecting a second baby. While not many details are mentioned, the couple will probably welcome a baby boy this summer. Fans were happy for the two of them, wishing them congratulations online.

Their first boy–Kepa Chill Rahm–was born last April.

That being said, the couple has been together for years now. They both attended Arizona State University, living together for two years. They tied the knot in 2019, the first ceremony taking place in Spain.

On the professional end, Rahm is currently playing in the Mexico Championship. Currently leading the scoreboard, one can probably expect a win from Rahm soon.
