Paige bravely opened up about the challenges she faced as a college golfer, shedding light on a stark disparity between the treatment of different teams. She disclosed the existence of an “A team” and a “B team,” where both teams enjoyed top-notch golf balls and gear as incentives based on their performance. This division created an unfair and demoralizing environment for the players.

Fighting for fairness: Spiranac confronts college officials to obtain necessary gear

One incident stood out vividly in the golf diva’s memory – confronting the college officials about the lack of provision for golf shoes. Despite enduring 36 gruelling days, and playing in adverse weather conditions, the team was provided with just one pair of shoes. Determined to rectify this disparity, the golf influencer took it upon herself to challenge the system. She tirelessly fought for a reallocation of the budget, ensuring that every team member received the necessary gear. However, this fight for fairness was far from easy; the ex golf pro faced numerous obstacles along the way.

Paige’s narrative also highlighted the contrasting experiences between her college and neighboring Oregon, home to the Nike Headquarters. She expressed her frustration at the stark difference in equipment, where the Oregon team enjoyed privileged access to the latest and best gear. This inequality further fueled the golf queen’s determination to advocate for fairness and equal treatment for all college golfers.
