However, during his recent episode of the Fore Play podcast, the player was in discussions about the Masters flag, and whether he could sign it or not. Not to forget, this was the first time Rahm won the tournament. In fact, it was his second major victory followed by his first one at the 2021 US Open. And so, it was pretty normal for him to be confused about the rules that one needs to follow after one wins such a tournament guarded by traditions.

When asked where he could sign his Masters flag, he said, “The center of the logo. That’s at least what they told me at Augusta so I’m doing that”. However, he soon got confused and added, “I don’t know if I can sign on a different year’s logo. I doubt it. I know before that you can sign on the logo because not that it’s bad luck, but they reserve that honor for champions. You have room to do it in the middle. I have no idea. I actually haven’t asked, but if it’s 2023, I’m definitely taken advantage of it.”
