Back in 2020, during one of the episodes, Spiranac shed light on her college life and how she found it hard to cope with others. Moreover, she also blamed her parents for all the struggles.

Spiranac has always been pointed out as being a loner during her college days. She was frequently a victim of harassment by fellow college girls who constantly bullied her. The 29-year-old was homeschooled most of her junior life. However, when the time came for her to go to college, the new chapter wasn’t easy for her.

After enrolling at the University of Arizona, Paige Spiranac suffered a drastic change in her surrounding. According to her, she wasn’t ready for college life. The massive challenges made Spiranac question her upbringing. “Once I went to college and experienced life, I was like, ‘What were you guys doing?”, she revealed in her podcast.

While speaking about her despair from her parents, Spiranac said. “I resented them” for their conservative way of upbringing. Nonetheless, she quickly settled well within her college mates, and became “a bit promiscuous”.

Moreover, her drinking habits also worsened as she claimed to get drunk a lot and turned into a “crazy party girl”. However, the party lifestyle hurt Spiranac mentally and also put her into depression. “I hated myself because that was everything I was not supposed to be,” she said.
