There was a time when the internet sensation played professional golf and was already very famous among golf fans. She said that many people believed that she was only called to play because of her attire and her looks, while others thought that she was invited because of her social media power. Not many people thought that Spiranac was worthy enough to be on the field for her skills in the game.

She said that during the time she was playing professional golf, there were people who bothered her and her family. Spiranac said, “I was harassed, my family was harassed. I was receiving death threats, people were invading my privacy, I was being blackmailed,”. It is sad to know that such a renowned player and successful internet star was receiving death threats from her fans. And it was all simply because people thought she became successful because of her clothes.

Spiranac fired back at men for body-shaming

The ex-golfer is often accused of wearing “unethical” and “appealing” clothes. Most people feel that Spiranac is only successful because of how beautiful she is. 

Even if a part of her audience follows her for her looks, she still has to work hard to maintain herself physically. “I have to work really hard in the gym and with dieting. It doesn’t come naturally to me,” she said.
