Recently, Spiranac revealed who showed her the path to fame. She discussed at length how she was initiated into the golfing world, and how she entered the doorways of success. In addition to this, it does not limit her interaction with her followers to strictly sports. She often talks about issues women face in sports, online trolling, and her love life.

How Spiranac walked the path to fame

In a recent interview, Spiranac discussed at length how she gained freedom overnight. She mentioned how her long time friend helped her. The friend mentioned here is Dan.

Spiranac said, “When I was out of college, and not sure what I want to do with my life. I finished this tournament. I was checking my phone and Dan wrote this very lovely article about me on total frat move and it was essentially a love note to me. But it went viral. That article went viral. I went viral. And within a week I went from having 500 followers to 100,000 followers.”

She added, “And we were just kind of talking back and forth and we ended up, just yeah, having this friendship for years and years and years, which I don’t know how we have still continued to be friends through.”

Dan and Spiranac share a long history of bond. The two have continued and maintained their friendship throughout the years. Through fame and fortune, thick and thin, the two were their for one another. At the end of the day, that is what truly matters.

Spiranac is not unknown for having her dates go wrong because of her involvement in the public space. She has had to go through a number of heartbreaks because of her career.

Talking about her dating life during her podcast, she said, “I would always open up a conversation with, ‘Hey I play golf’ and I thought that it would work. Unfortunately, guys were using me for golf lessons, golf equipment, and golf balls.”

She added, “It would turn into an hour’s lesson of me just helping the guy become a better golfer. That happened all the time since I was desperate and I wanted guys to like me.”

According to Spiranac, she later discovered that most of these men were already dating someone for months. It is rather shocking how being involved in the public space can widely affect one’s personal life.
